For three days, the residents of Hünenberg lived and celebrated as their forefathers might have done in 1414. Visitors immersed themselves in the Middle Ages on the festival arena, also making good use of the market and the tavern.

Saturday saw the residents attend the official ceremony – an imposing spectacle featuring more than 200 participants dressed in medieval costume. The 175 invited guests were not to be left out and themselves took part in the proceeding wearing the appropriate garb.
