The health insurer joined with all its employees in celebrating its 25th anniversary with a terrific «street party» in the Eulachhallen Winterthur.
 

Thanks to the elaborate decor, those present really felt like they were in the midst of a street party. Swica’s eight administrative regions provided the themes for the party. Each themed area invited the employees to linger with appropriate furnishings, table decorations and a wealth of decorative detail. Steffi Buchli, occupying the circular centre stages, skilfully facilitated the official part of the proceedings. 
 

Afterwards, the invitees were able to eat their fill at the various market stalls. The food on offer took its cue from the different thematic areas. A variety of small stages offered the street artists present the opportunity to entertain their public. A pocket guide provided details of the attractions and food stalls, the programme of activities, and information regarding public transport to and from the event. 
 

Finally, a show-stopping highlight was the presentation of the lipdub performance produced especially for the anniversary. All of Swica’s staff sang and danced along to «Up in the Sky», the well-known song by local Swiss band 77 Bombay Street. Both moving and inspirational, the video generated an incomparable sense of community.
