The Zentralbahn celebrated its 10th anniversary and invited the public to an open day.

This versatile and varied programme offered numerous highlights. The 1'600 visitors were able to familiarise themselves with the Zentralbahn company throughout the day. They could: try their hand at operating a driving simulator, watch rerailing exercises, examine an underfloor wheelset lathe, discover a range of apprenticeships, join tours of the control centre, enjoy steam train and trolley rides and much more.
 

One of the highlights was the christening of a FINK-type multiple-car train, which was christened «Stansstad» in honour of the local municipality.

Furrer Events assisted with the organisation and ensured that the event ran as planned.
